1) Spring Powered Wheel Kinetic Sculpture Plans

Spring Powered Wheel Kinetic Sculpture Plans gives you 22 pages of instructions to build yourself this beautiful art piece. Sketches of parts and pictures and step by step instructions to help you with this challenging build. This Kinetic Sculpture uses a negator constant torque spring to power your build. A material list and a place to purchase the spring are included to make the build easier.

This Kinetic Sculpture is approx. 24'' x 24'' x 6'' deep after you build it. The principal movement is an escapement wheel you build that is having a constant spring force trying to turn it clockwise. When started, the top of the lever pushes a latch up that frees up the escapement wheel to advance forward applying force to the bottom of the lever. This causes the spinning wheel to change direction. Then the latch comes down again and locks the escapement wheel on the next tooth until the lever comes back to lift the latch again and repeat the process. An interesting rewarding hobby for anyone who likes mechanical movements.

2) Gravity Motor Kinetic Sculpture Plans

Gravity Powered Kinetic Sculpture Plans is a 22 page digital download of instructions, sketches of parts, and pictures to follow to help you build this unique wooden kinetic sculpture. No batteries or plug ins needed. Sculpture uses a hanging weight to power the escapement wheel that pushes a pendulum that turns the flywheel. Art piece is made of plywood parts that you will make. Some 1/4'' bolts and a 1 small bearing are needed but the rest is wood. Material list of parts needed will help you along. The Gravity Motor is approx. 12'' wide x 20'' tall x 4'' deep after you build it, and the hanging weight measures approx. 8'' wide x 15'' tall x 2-1/4'' deep after you build it. This is a faster moving kinetic sculpture that will run approx. 4-5 minutes after you crank up the weight. Definitely a challenging unique wood project, sure to be a conversation starter. Would look good in your home or office after you make this project. I left mine plain, but you could stain or paint parts of the Gravity Motor to give it a different look. 3) Swirl Kinetic Sculpture Plans

Swirl Kinetic Sculpture Plans gives you step by step instructions for building the wooden parts that make this art piece. The ''swirl'' shaped piece that turns slowly is about 22'' long (55.88 cm ) x 6'' wide (15.24 cm ) after you make it. This sculpture is powered by a wooden weight that you crank up after it reaches the bottom. No batteries or plug ins. Just mechanical power.

A clockwork escapement you make turns the wooden swirl, which speed is determined by the pendulum that moves back and forth. Art piece moves for about 20 minutes after cranking up the weight. Most parts need to be built with 1/2'' plywood and a couple of 3/4'' pieces of plywood, wooden dowels, and some 1/4'' bolts. ( you can easily substitute metric sizes of wood and bolts that are close ). Art piece should be mounted on the wall 6 ft from the floor (182.88 cm ) after you build it.

This Large Pendulum Slow-Swing Kinetic Sculpture Building Plans is a digital download you can print out from your computers printer immediately after your purchase. You will need to draw the parts out with a pencil on a piece of wood according to the sizes in the sketches using a geometry set and a ruler.
